THPS 5 is a buggy mess

Has anyone seen the initial game play reviews of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5? Looks like a real mess. The physics engine is comical, the graphics don't look any way near what a 4th gen game should and there is limited customization of characters. Not to mention menus and load screens bombing out. There was also a 7GB patch issued on release day.

It's a real shame to see the game turn out like this. I can't see patches fixing a fundamentally bad game. I'm a big fan of the series, but it hasn't had a decent release since Project 8.

I heard it was bad to bad I would have loved trying that game out again. I have not played one since 2 I dont think

This really came out with no marketing or buzz. It caught me by surprise.

I get the feeling that they were too embarrassed to send it out for review. Would probably have hurt launch sales badly.

Haven't played TH since high school, I think the last one we played was when they you could start skitching on cars, man those were fun days!
