I'll bet the minimum specs aren't all that high, Blizzard usually keeps them low because they code so tightly and stylize the graphics.

From what I've heard a x1600 series card is capable of Medium-High settings

It looks better than any other RTS out there. Just cause you dont like that style of game doesnt mean you should bag on it. Remember the little comments you said on GTA4? Dont bash it till you try it.

probably be backwards compatible with 9, but native DX10??

It will most likely be like Crysis. Where it will be DX10 but also have a DX9 mode.

I'll probably buy this title. It looks pretty good, and starcraft was fun.

It looks too complicated and too strategically deep for me. I'm not an RTS fan (last one I beat was Red Alert 2 and expansions), though, so probably what turns me off about this game is what everyone else thinks is good about it.
