The Sims Complete Collection

Can someone please help. I tried to install the Sims Complete Collection. I followed the instructions..cleaned up the hard drive for errors and defragged. It started installing ok and then stopped. Then I tried to uninstall to start over and I get this error..."Error getting sku number from registry". I used the Run feature for the registry and there aren't any Sims files there or anywhere else. What's up with this? Can anyone help.

Sims Complete Problems

did all unintalling and deleting and even downloed sims eraser.
tryed installing after all of that.
error states I need some type of a sku code or number and aborted instalation.

need help fixing instalation problem.
also what exactly is a sku number?
