release dates for games

most games based on movies are released on or after the day the movie comes out because it generally contains spoilers for the movie. but i noticed that Wall-E the game comes out 3 days before the movie. why is that?

Happens alot actually i played LOTR Return of the King like a week before the movie came out

Maybe its so people buy the games before people know what the movie is actually like, so if reviews say its a rubbish movie, whos gonna buy the games??? However, with all the hype that comes with the release of movies, people are more likely to buy the games and stuff before it comes out as they do not know if the movie is actually good, and/or think it will be good. No?

Stupid move, if i played the game first i certainly wouldn't of watched the movie. even though it was so good.
