Wasn't Dark Souls technically Demon Souls 2?

More like a spiritual successor. It's open world where Demon's Souls had a hub world and you would travel to different levels. Getting a Dark Souls and Demon's Souls sequel back to back would be so awesome.

I think most Souls players would be going PS4 anyway. Maybe a Demon's Souls PS4 exclusive would push some of them to buy one sooner though *cough*slay

Demons Souls is owned by Sony, it being a PS4 exclusive is a forgone conclusion (?)

oh if there is a demons souls 2 for ps4 I would buy one tomorow. I really wish Dark Souls 2 would be put out on the PS4

There is no way in the world that it won't eventually be on the PS4. One way or another, it will be. If I had to guess, I would say within 12 months.

if i had a guess, my guess would be that it will be a day one digital download for the PS4 on the day it launches. I think dark souls 2 is done and has been done, they are just waiting to optimize it for the next gen consoles. just my opinion though
