Guitar hero III wireless Les paul Guitars on the PC

Has anyone really been able to play guitar Hero III on the PC with the Les Paul wireless guitars from the Xbox 360 with the Xbox 360 wireless receiver for PC? How well does it work? and does it work on windows XP

I don't have either but I know the Les paul guitar works on xp and vista because it works with Frets on Fire. Gotta have the wireless adapter of course.

Yeah, my friend played Frets on Fire using his 360 Les Paul and receiver. Pretty sure you can map it to play GH3, though you may have to use an external joystick mapping program or virtual driver to do so, I don't know how GH3 PC maps the controller.

So i finally received the wireless Les paul guitars for the Xbox 360 and bought the Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver for PC, hooked it up and everything works great! even the star power! Works perfectly on both Frets on fire and Guitar Hero 3, multiplayer is also supported. Works on both Vista and Xp!
