Give opinion on this system

Can anyone give some opinions on the following system, i'm planning to get it...

Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800XT or Asus Geforce6800 V9999/TD 128MB/DDR/DVI

Very nice setup. Be sure to get the GeForce 6800 GT graphics card though, or else get the Radeon 9800 Pro. The 9800XT is yesterdays news, and is not a very cost effective solution.

and while your at it pay the extra 20-40 bucks and get a 120 gb drive

too unreliable, i think 80 in a single drive is as high as i will go. to much memory to shuffle through, unless its SATA

i think anyone who would throw that kind of money into a computer better be doin something thats going to use at least half of that, if you think about it..... games cant get that much better, i mean, seriosly to our eyes, can we see the pixels? no... so who cares if they get smaller, a little sharper but thats it... so i think buying a system like that will be almost useless, might as well get ready for the future though huh?

You can NEVER buy a too powerful PC.
Technology moves so fast that before you know it theres something that wont run fast enough.
Not just games but a super ninja pc will do the things u wished ur current pc would.

I mess around with Bryce alot, believe me i WISH i had a better pc for that sometimes!
I wish that sometimes i could run AVG at the same time as transcoding a DivX movie but if i did everything would just crawl and AVG would take an hour to run.

If you got the cash then go for it i say!

nice setup, itl last u a hwile. as of gfx dont get rad 9800xt, get the 6800 over the 9800 pro, imp. 6800 gt that is. for the 3400+ get the clawhammer, its 10$ more on zipzoomfly. the rest seems good
