Gaming video problem

i need to know what to set my video card on to play my games like counter stike cz off of steam and stuff it keeps on lagging and i have good memory but i need to know what to set it on its a XFX Geforce FX 5200 if you can help thanks.

I would try 1024 x whatever and put all the eye candy on low. Make sure AA and AINSF are off.

If you get resonable frames, put a bit of eye candy on.

first thing you need to do is turn all the graphic settings on low. then go into a game server and in console type "net_graph 3"
that will show you your fps in the bottom right of the screen. if it is over 60fps then you are fine, then slowly raise the video settings until the fps gets to between 60 and 70, that shouls be all you need.
Or Perhaps its the server which is lagging?

Set video to 1024x768, all to low, and in console type "cl_smooth 0"

try to set video to 800*600 , all good quality ,...it will work

i fixed it along time ago but thankz
