Everyone is biased on this topic, there aint an argument about it, lol, it is the case. I am biased towards 360s cause I got one and I love them, and I've never really liked playstation. But that is my own personal opinion.
When it comes down to it, sure, PS3 has better specs on average than 360, but they are close enough that it shouldn't make a HUGE difference in my opinion. If you want something to watch movies on get a PS3 cause of the audio and blu ray etc, cause yeah, no doubt PS3 is superior in that regard. Easiest way to choose imo, look at the games that are out and that are coming out. The franchises such as Final Fantasy on playstation or halo on xbox. Forza or Gran Turismo. If you are a HUGE jap rpg fan (which I am) then you may want to lean towards PS3 cause they got a better potential market for it. When I chose my 360, well, for one the PS3 wasn't out, but the other games offered on 360 was AWESOME, and as I said I don't like playstations.
Go to IGN.com or something and just look at upcoming titles, in development or reviews of games that are already out or something, cause if you want a console for gaming, then the games are what matters, not the hardware. Are you going to play a crap game which looks amazing or an absolutely amazing game that looks fairly mediocre? By all means I don't mean that one console will have awesome looking games and the other crap looking games, just making you think about what you reckon is important in a game.
