Lool Xbox 360 has to Load stuff up Rofl lol think it might need Blu ray.. and Xbox 360 was loading the buildings up as the person was getting closer.. Plus the shield bit didnt look very detailed on the 360 version when it did on the PS3

The PS3 and the 360 load the cells differently after the devs tweaked it, also I'm pretty sure that the 360 footage wasn't using running the patch that also tweaked it.

You now it's a hardware issue that the PS3 wasn't using quite as high textures as the 360, as there is no other excuse since it was on a bluray disk which can easily hold high-res textures.

The lighting is also different between the two, you can tell by the shield (the PS3's shield lites up more from the sun, where as the 360 is almost always in shadow. Another instance is where you see the church, the sun makes everything orange in the PS3, where as the 360 tends to keep a lot of the color.

The technology of bluray is much faster, but since the PS3 only uses a 2x drive the DVD drive still has faster data transfer.

1x speed is defined as 36Mbps. However, as BD-ROM movies will require a 54Mbps data transfer rate the minimum speed we're expecting to see is 2x (72Mbps).

so as you can see even if the ps3 had a 1x drive it would still be 36.0 MB/s

Umm... No the 2x bluray drive does 72Mbits/second which simplifies to 9 MB/s

Like it says:

Mb = Megabit
MB = Megabyte
1 MB = 8 Mb

Therefor 72Mb = 9 MB

Know some basic computer units.

The "comparison" is the most important, read it and learn. So really it would take a 4x bluray drive to totally beat the 12x DVD drive. However, 8x bluray drives should be coming out soon which will be very fast.

id get the 360 as it is similair to the PS3 although the PS3 is better than the 360 in some aspects its still much cheaper
