Well it looks as though my fears have finally been realized. According to this and similar articles, EA has turned out a half-assed NFL game. Only problem is, if this were 2 or 3 years ago, you'd see what SEGA or other companies had to offer. But no more. Do you think this is the beginning of the end for smaller game developer studios, or will gamers see through EA's ploy to crush all competition and release the same game every year?

That was what I was beginning to believe. EA is getting all about the $$, so they half-ass games and worry about the consequences later, anything to make a quick buck.

I find that alot of EA Games Sport Simulators (unless it's a Car Racing Game) are pretty much half arsed.

If it's not poor game play, then there is the issues of software bugs and stuff all support.
