Does it slow down your computer to have too much games on it?

I have a 500GB HD now, and I can't resist the urge to install every game I want to play that's been sitting on my shelf dormant for the last year or so. Would that slow down my computer?

As long as you don't completely fill all of your disk space and you don't try to run more than 1 at a time, just installing them isn't a problem.
