Well the one genre that hasn't been all taped out is the action stealth genre. The Hitman games are pretty much by themselves because there aren't any big budget assassin games other then them. And Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was a nice relief of new gameplay.

HL2 is the absoloute greatest game ever made, hands down.
FEAR is a somewhat innovative and very engaging FPS.
As for 3rd person shooters.... On PC none come to mind. On console try Psi-ops. Immensly innovative.

I miss Metal Gear Solid. There will be a new one for ps3. But i just dont know if i wanna spend $299 for the same types of games i can play on ps2.- Status
