Dawn of War Patch Problem... Windows 7?

I couldn't find a software troubleshooting forum, so I decided to post here. Would anybody happen to know, or have had a problem with patching DoW/Dawn of War (including all the expansions) on Windows 7? Every time I try to do multiplayer it makes me download a patch, so I press accept and it just stops with 100% on the screen, so I have to cancel it out. I like to get this fixed, thank you.

Have you tried dling and installing the patch externally?

Also, have you tried Dow2 yet? It is my rts atm. It is going to be until SC2 comes out.

I love DOW 2, and I hope I like starcraft 2 just as much, although the graphics aren't all that impressive, Anyways, Ill try externally applying it, thank you

So you like play both dow's then? What factions do you like? I'm a nid player.

Ok, I got it fixed, all you have to do is run it as administrator apparently. The factions I like are mainly eldar, and space marine's as well, I dont do well with all the melee that is done by nids and orks.
