I am playing guildwars2

Each time I double click the icon, the installer has me verify playing from a new ip adress, I have noticed that my ip adress changes each time I start up the client.

any ideas what could be causing this?

Does your modem lose power often? Your IP will usually reset when that happens.

Or depending on when your ISP leases out new IP's - that will cause iet to change.

Are you running a proxy or VPN on your system?

No I am not running a proxy or vpn.

and ty I think its because the modem keeps getting unplugged. ( yesterday I moved it today) I am going to reboot and try again,

That would probably be why.

A lot of ISP companies will attach several IP's to your account. I know SuddenLink does that. If you want a static address they would issue one from your pool. The first 5 are free from them. After that it cost us 5 dollars a month per IP. Might want to check in to that with your ISP.
