10 Cool Things Virtualization Lets You Do CIO.com

I have to check out this VmWare Unity Mode. It sounds like the functionality is similar to Windows 7 XP Mode.

We had a Citrix Server at my last corporate america job. It was useful for accessing company files when I would work at the house but overall it was like driving a sports car with 1/2 the spark plugs removed. For my purposes it was a big waste of money, but it saved the company money because the regular office personnel didn't need a stand a lone computer at each cubicle. They just had a monitor, keyboard and mouse hooked into a access port.
