Default How to create a home test for Ethernet cables?

Anyone that knows networks or related stuff could tell me how you would test your cables to see how much data they can handle? I'm sorry for the noobiness!

What Category is your Ethernet cable? Data rate is determined by category.

What Kind of Ethernet (Cat-5/e/6/a) Cable Should I Use?
I want to do the testing on a Cat6 and Cat6a cable.

I was actually reading something similar, I bought some cables and then found this post https://beyondtech.us/blogs/beyond-b...e-home-network I believe I also read the difference betweens the fiber cables there.

As long as you run a network tester and the cable is perfect, and the cable is legitimate and actually meets the requirements of cat 6 & cat 6a cable, then it will be able to handle the specs stated in the post above.

Fiber is only useful when you either want to send data a long distance that exceeds the common 90m cable run (10m patch cords) of copper, or you want to link device to devise so for most home networks and most enterprise networks, cat 6a is more than enough.
