AV to laptop screen?

Is it possible to connect a yello AV cable to a screen taken from a laptop ?

I have a Namco arcade that I want to build a cabnit for and have it be a miniture version of the old school cabnit games. So I am wondering if a laptop screen would work since I have lots of those, or do i need to go get a 15" TV to use for cabnit

I can't remember what it's called, but you'll need to find a converter card that converts the laptop interface to a normal video output (VGA/HDMI). Then if you really wanted to use composite video, you could get a converter to adapt to that interface.

Ohh, I am taking the screen off of the laptop, I doubt a converter would be used. Endless they have a converter that I can splice into. I am talking about wireing it into the laptop screen cables.

So am I. You can't direct wire a composite video cable to a laptop LCD. You need the controller card I mentioned.
