Regarding the TV valve, that will be a little nipple that looks like a valve stem on car tire and it will be on the condenser that's the fat piece of the system that I believe may be wrapped in aluminium foil looking material to keep it cool but if its gm then it's for sure got a txv valve. I drive a Chevy SUV so its probably identical to mine.
