We (My wife and I ) looked at a Malibu last year 2012- because my wife has an 01' and liked it but when she test drove the 12 model she did not like it. It was smaller and felt very confining, so we looked at some other cars until we checked out a Chrysler 200 limited edition with a V6 and 6 speed tranny. It's been just over a year now and I do not regret it at all...I like to drive this car
You should check out the 200 but do not get one with the 4cyl engine because it's a pooch We drove a 200 4 cyl rental in Texas last spring and it was like a different car
