Words unclear on tv

ya so i have this 32" Philips Tv. . im not sure which model.. but is like 2 - 4 years old maybe.. anyways, the words are unclear when i am playing a game or just watching tv.. is there anyway to fix that?

it really depends on the TV's resolution. my TV was so terrible that I hooked up my Xbox 360 to my computer monitor and it looks amazingly better.

Try connecting some external speakers. Also, some TV's have sound enhancements, go to the menu and make sure you disable all of those (they don't really make anything better).

If you can hear good on the externals without changing settings, then you might have some defective speakers.
