Windows media player can't play DVD

my computer cannot play DVD but i played it before..and now it pops up a msg saying that my computer resolution is too high....bla bla bla.... i played it before last time using same configuration..i don't know what has happened to my computer..all DVD software can't play it..my graphic card is geforce 5200 128MB...P4 3.0 HT 1024MB RAM..thanks!

to me if i am correct it sounds like it can be a dvd playback problem but dont mark my word on that one you will want to check with someone who knows alittle more then i do i hope i am correct on this one
