will the C-Media 8738 sound card handle 5.1 Speakers ?

I went hunting for a new 5.1 system not long ago. Replaced my crappy Labtec Arena 675 5.1 Speakers. I'd look at review first. Here are a few:

Generally a good system, but consistent complaints about short cables (but you can buy longer cables and replace them) and comments on poor bass reproduction in many instances.

These are the reasons why I eliminated the Logitech X-530 from the list when I looked for a new surround sound system. I opted for the Creative Inspire T5900 5.1 Speakers.

They have, overall, higher wattage output (RMS) compared to the Logitech X-530 (satellite speakers had higher wattage in T5900), and even though it has a lower wattage subwoofer, bass reproduction has had many excellent reviews.

I can just imagine those speakers playing Call of duty.. that would be good true surround sound allright might try and look in for these :) thx for your help
