My father wants a surround sound... a cheap one... couple hundred dollars... but i think a sound bar will be better... he is not a huge movie guy but loves sports.. hockey, football, march madness, etc. but his tv is low on the stand ... maybe 2-3 inches above the stand it is on... what are my best choices? im going sound bar... not full surround.. What is the best/ smallest bar? and if putting a bar 10 inches lower on the shelfright below the tv.. how is the sound?
