Hey...
I was just wondering what is the best DVD-R to use to archive some data...It is kind of important and I dont want to risk putting it on cheap , unknown DVDs....

I was thniking about Imation or Verbatim....(which is better or if other, plz specify)

What do you think???

Thanx

When i buy DVD+R's, i just look for the cheapest, cheapest ones.

I have bought BenQ and Fujifilm DVDs, and no coasters.

Anything works great...

Well it depends,

I use the generic Brand DVDs and CDs such as the ones from Strathfeild (http://www.strathfield.com) not sure if you have it over in the US though, but Verbatim has worked well for me in the past they are probably the best name brands I've used.

tdk have some special made certain kind of hard to scratch disk out.

actually... i have had NOTHING but coasters from TDK. They burn fine 50% of the time (and then they can't be read by ANYTHING) or the other 50% of the time the burn fails.

Maxell and Imation are my brands of choice. For CD's at least... I dont really have any problems with DVDs.
