I probably have a weird setup but let me explain.

I have these speakers: Newegg.com - Logitech Z-2300 200 watts RMS 2.1 Speaker System - Speakers (Z-2300)

I have this sound card: Newegg.com - Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio 70SB104000000 7.1 Channels PCI Express x1 Interface Sound Card - Sound Cards (x0fi xtremem audio PCI-e)

I setup my audio so that my sound plays through these speaks when I am on Xbox or PS3. Of course since these speakers go through my computer, the computer needs to be on in order for me to hear any sound (uses my sound card).

Well just over the last few days every time I turn off my Xbox360 I hear this loud "tick tick tick tick tick" over and over. It never stops. Some times it slows down then speeds up. It's so weird!

Any way the only way to make it stop is reboot PC.

Any ideas? The only thing I have done recently is organized all the wires to make things looks a little cleaner. Would I be getting interference from other cables maybe? I thought about that but the Xbox360 is turned off when this is happening so I don't see why I would hear that noise after the xbox is off.

Thanks
