Video Problem

This is a V2 Premier w/Intel Pentium 4, ECS - Elite Group.
I think Visicom makes it. OS is WinXP Home Edition.

There isn't any video card just the onboard video which doesn't work. The one stick of RAM doesn't want to seat properly, but I think I have that one fixed.

Is my only alternative to purchase a video card for the PCI or AGP?

Is it a desktop or a laptop? Can you give the exact make and model. Only then can we suggest anything.

It is a desktop.
So it would be a Visicom V2 Premier, Intel Pentium 4 with Windows XP Home.
Motherboard is an 661FX-M Rev. 1.

I bought a pci video card and installed it. Still no video. I switched hard drives to a known good one but still nothing. When I use Micro2000's diagnostic card it gives be the code "AA" which is bad video?

set the ram right. it could be a bad cpu too. try resetting the cmos
