VHS to Hard drive? Need some help and suggestions

Ok I bought Roxio easy VHS to DVD the adapter is cool it goes from RCA jacks to usb plugs into the computer and than your good to go. The software seems very crappy though, it only allows you to put the movie directly onto disc not allowing you to save it on the hard drive first. I have Nero vision and it seems to work good but I never get audio to the movie WTH.... What am I doing wrong? Can anyone suggest either some other software to use or maybe help me with Nero Vision please.

Usually the best way to do this is to actually buy a proper capture card that you install in your pc. They are like $50.

This is what you need.

A capture card (I think the one that came with your kit might work)

And capture software. I use this! It's free software and the company that makes it makes some other good products as well.
