TV Card Audio problem

Ok, i've installed my new TV tuner card, and i can get a signal ans picture, but no audio.

When i re-booted i got an 'add-hardware' message saying about a pice of hardware called 'MEDIA', but the drivers don;t seem to be on the installation disc that came with the card.

Any ideas anyone?

Usually you need a patch cable to run from audio out to the soundcard's line-in.

I have a built in sound card. I have a cable from the tv card to the line in on the mobo. But all i get is static. I think it's a driver issue.

did you try the mic in?

Also, make sure it's the line out on the TV card---sometimes manufacturers use 1/8" jacks as the IR port etc., so you could be plugged into the wrong port.

Also check your sound configuration.
