Transfer VHS to PC to DVD????

Hi,
I have win7 64Bit a GTX260 Gcard, is it possible to connect the VHS Video player to PC to record then move those files to DVD??
I have just connect Video to PC with S-Video cable but can't see anything on PC. Also have a Hauppage Video card BUT system wont find it, so old I had with a P75 PC !!!! so don't think thats an option.

Do i need to get capture devices???

Yes you'll need to get an input device, gpus only output.
