They only sound flat down to 90Hz (+/-3dB) at 50hz they have a -5db, and 20hz -10db. Same at the high end of the aduio spectrum 25khz.
But yes they are good headphones especially for monitoring, there also good for portability as they are 64ohms and will work well through a handheld device such as an ipod.
