I have a high quality audio cable (basically looks like coax with a rca cable on the end making it composite) It came with my sony TV
I was trying to use it on SPDIF out to my logiech z-5500 decoded.. I've never used the digital out before but... the rest of the audio card works.. The logitech decoder however says no signal even though it seems properly connected..
Is there any signifigant difference between the $30 spdif cables and a high quality shielded coax composite cable(gold plated).. to me they look the same but.. I duinno..
Rather not blow the $20 ifi can avoid or if something else is wrong with my comp.
