my new sub came today and im really excited but i want to ask a few questions its got louds of knobs and switches and i really want to know what they all mean, ive read the instruction manual but i want your say aswell:

PHASE
LF EXTENSION
GAIN
LFE MODE
XOVER FREQ
DIRECT & 80Hz HIPASS

Phase - this inverts the speaker's excursion 180º. You will only need this if you have phase cancellations, which is highly unlikely. Let me google that for you

LF Extension - I'm not too sure what they mean by this, but I assume that it is a shelf boost.

Gain - You can refer to this as "volume" for now.

LFE Mode - Let me google that for you

Xover freq - Let me google that for you

For the last one, read the manual. I'm not sure what its talking about. A high pass @ 80hz will only allow 80hz and below to the sub.
