Streaming music

Hi Everybody,
I was wondering if there is a way to stream music form one computer to annother. eg: My desktop has all my music and stuff on it but i want to play the music elsewhere. I have a wierless router if thats any help. I was thinking maybe setting up a "server" on my desktop (I already run an FTp and Webserver) and just accessing the server on a laptop with the wierless network. Any ideas on ANY ways to get the music to play from the laptop without actualy putting the music on the laptop?

You simply need to Network your two puters and then share the hard drives. You can open, transfer or modity any files from either puter.
