strange speaker prob?

hey, basically i got these new speakers, and have been set up as per instructions: looks like this

although mine just goes to a pc.

problem is only one of the speakers is working the other one is quiet and fuzzy, but if i swith the splitter that goes to the pc i.e. take the red jack out the red socket and the white out the white and swap the over red into white etc, then then the speaker that was fine becomes fuzzy and quiet and the fuzzy speaker goes normal...don't think i explained that well but hey.

any thoughts?

It sounds as if the one cable that is used to connect the speakers to the PC is bad.

Moved to correct area.

thanks, but naa. tried a different cable and still same problem, cant be the speakers them selves as individually the seem to work.

any more suggestions, cheers.

Cables not the prob, speakers arn't the prob, what's that leave ?

A dodgey connection on the soundcard, clean it, check for dry solders etc.
If not, replace the soundcard.

try to test it with some other speakers first, any will do.
