Speakers under 200 for games, movies, music, ect

I'm looking for a speaker set for either 200 or under that will sound great for media and games. I don't know much about audio and all the reviews I see are either great or bad on every set I see.
2.1 or 5.1 is fine just looking for the best value at this price point

Any recommendations?

just a few that I've heard and like very much... I also like Bose to a certain degree (Let the bashing begin) but most people here don't... but any of these will sound great added to your system

How come the 5.1 sets are so cheap?
Will I miss much with a 2.1 set?

About the only thing you'll miss is having the sound come from behind you with a 5.1 system... the sound is still present in a 2.1, but just not separated out like 5.1.

Most computer speakers are about this price range for decent sound... if you eally want to go nuts then you could put all the components together piece by piece, and that can get pricey... all of them are good, so I would read the reviews (of course there are going to be lemons in EVERY product, so not every one is going to be perfect) and really judge how much you want to spend.
