Hi, Im looking for a good set of 2.1 speakers, and I wondered if you could tell me a good set. I have a 7.1 sound card, but theres just not the room for so many speakers
I live in UK and i can afford up to £60 from scan.co.uk

all in all a pretty decent set of speakers

i myself have the x-530's which are the 5.1 big brother to the x-230's

$1500 ProAc speakers > headsets

im always on speakers (yamaha NS10 w/ hafler amp). and i never use headphones. for my set up, speakers r way better for positioning and comfortable.
so i guess it depends on how much u can spend for em...
less than $100 = headsets
around $500 = speakers

40dollar edimentional headset<klipsch 2.1 promedia speakers.

the klipsch promedia speakers are the best i've ever heard. the trebel and bass levels are amazing... i totally reccommend them!

I second that! The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's are the best 2.1 speakers ever. If your really cheap though, the Z-3's or the X-230's will do fine.
