Sound Randomly Stopped Working?

Hi guys, I was hoping you might be able to help me with my problem. Couple days ago I turn on my computer and my sound wasn't working. I've tried dling the drivers from DFI site and drivers from nvidia and I checked my BIOS to make sure my sound was enabled. I have a DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 ULTRA-D motherboard. And under dxdiag on the sound tab everything is blank.

use the realtek driver for sound and not the nvidia one

I uninstalled the nvidia one and then reinstalled the realtek one and still nothing

if the sound is a pci card check that it is in prop i always get mine slipping out
