Sound Quality!!

Hi, I have been having a problem with my sound lately when I try playing a game or try talking into a mic. The quality for both its quite bad. I don't have a sound card, it's onboard with the motherboard. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

The motherboard is a EVGA Mainboard Version 54.NF33. I was thinking It could be a driver problem but I havn't been able to find the right driver. Also could it be that I should just buy a sound card? Any help would be great thanks!

no need to report Ste... as long as a mod sees it it will be ok.

For drivers, you MUST use the drivers off of your motherboard CD. --MUST--

You really aren't going to get good quality off that onboard sound. Most onboard sounds like poo. Even the cheapest soundblaster will get you better quality.

Ok now about he output when I talk into a mic people on the other end say it sounds like an aircraft is right behind me. So getting a new soundcard will fix these problems?

And yes I have tryed the drivers off my motherboard CD and they have had no effect.
