song at 1411kbps?

Is it possible the song was encoded at 1411kbps? it sounds great but is it really like 320 or 768?

.WAV is at that bit rate. Its what every CD in the store is encoded at.

MP3 compress WAV files to around 1/10 the original size with a small amount of audible loss.

u can use wma lossless, it is about 2/3 size of wave but have the same quality

Lossey formats never = the orignial PCM wave file. If you master these lossey format's you will see what I mean when attempting to re-engineer these wave forms......most people do not know the difference. The differences, however, are not trivial. Depends upon what you are doing wiht these files.
