Software To Change MPEG Brightness?

hey i got a few videos that are kind of dark and i would like to brighten them up and save them like that does anyone know a free or a program available somewhere online to download with a crack that isnt too difficult to use and doesnt take to long to get done

in windows media player, you can choose brightness while playing a video:

i know i can do that but that i have to do everytime i watch the video i need something to i can do that and save it like that
