Well if the speakers you were using before you bought the videologic worked, then I'd try checking any wires for loose connections, check to see if your sound card is capable of sending signals to a 5.1 system. The system might have a bad wire or voicecoil. Check your wires for any serious pinch marks that might have broken the copper inside. try using the speakers with something else, see if they have the same problem getting an input from a different computer or cd player. I've read a lot of forum posts about people getting very low fidelity sound out of their computer and I've been trying to figure out what the common factor is.
