Hello,

Is it possible to digitally record music from the internet, as it is being played? Example, gotradio.com - you use a client to listen radio/music channel etc. They have some gotradio player (I guess it uses windows media player)??

Can you save the music to play later?
Ideally, I would like to record several hours of music, then go edit the music - put in mp3 files.

Or is it just too much work and effort to do that?

I imagine saving streaming audio will take up many gig real quick.

thanks

thanks...

don't know if sound card and/or video card can do such things: Do you?

I have a ATI all-in-wonder (and older one, its like 2 years old)
and I have creative sound blaster live

yeah total recorder should work or if you can get that file from temp internet files folder. i was wondering. . . .what if you loop the speaker output right back into your sound input on the sound card. . . somehow i do not think it would work, but it sounds like it would work.
