IÂ’m thinking about buying an external TV tuner. IÂ’m looking for recommendations. I want to use it to watch TV and maybe occasionally record shows to playback later. IÂ’m looking for something with a decent picture quality. I want one that can have inputs plugged into it for game consoles, VCR, or DVD player. Decently priced (If itÂ’s too expensive I might as well just go buy a TV, right). IÂ’ll probably run it on my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop with Windows XP pro.
Are there any TV tuners out there that would run on an older system? I have an old computer that runs on Windows 98. ItÂ’s not of much use right now so I was thinking that maybe I could turn it into a TV.
