So this is the Headset i bought https://www.amazon.co.uk/AKG-Reference-Open-Back-Over-Ear-Headphones/dp/B00DCXZY1W/
So i sorta bought this without really looking into it, So if anyone could help answer my questions i would seriously appreciate it.
1, So when i first started using the headset i noticed that it was very quiet even at max volume, I can fix this by turning on loudness equalisation under the enhancement tabs but i feel as if this is lowering the quality of the headset, Ive heard a headphone amp or a sound card can help this but im unsure what i should get.
2, Usually when you get some new peripheral or hardware you have install drivers or configure some settings on windows but i haven't been able to find any information about drivers or configs. (Someone mentioned something about Motherboard sound settings but im unsure what it meant)
Those are the two questions i have at the moment, I will be using this headset for competitive online games where good audio is key. "Think Overwatch and R6 Siege"
PC Specs:
Windows 10
48GB Ram
GTX 1080
I7-5820k
ASUS ROG STRIX Intel X99 RGB LED GAMING ATX Motherboard
Thanks for reading.
