Hello im new here, i need some help tho.
I know theres a different between Rear Mic and Stereo Mix but im having a trouble getting both to work.
You may be like "what is he talking about?"
I have a Sigmatel Audio driver. it's currently one short of a update, but heres where the problem comes in.
The driver does support stereo mix because if i update it, it will have it, but if its updated then my rear mic doesn't work (my headset comes with a detachable mic that has to use rear mic). If i keep the driver at the same "update" then i don't have stereo mix.
I've watched a couple of registry edit videos for adding stereo mix, but i did that multiple times and it still doesn't add the stereo mix option.
was wondering if anyone could help, please and thank you!
Link that i've used for help:
YouTube - How to enable "stereo mix" on a disabled windows xp (no download required)
and the headset im using is
Turtle Beach PC Gaming Headset with Surround Sound
by the way.. my computer is a dell Xps 400 (i know kinda old)
