Realtek Audio Drivers Not Working.

So my new PC has Realtek HD audio drivers. I don't have it set up with speakers yet so I just plugged my Triton Headphone/Headset into it. The sound worked great for 10 minutes and then just turned into static. I tried unplugging, replugging into a different headphone jack, restarting the computer. All the same. Static. It only started working once I reinstalled the drivers, and then went out again after 10 minutes of usage. I'm about to buy a sound card to try to fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

what is your motherboard specs? and operating system?
