to convert your files, use SUPER (Simplified Universal Player, Encoder, and Renderer) by eRightsoft. and if you want to split your files, convert them to mpeg/mpg or avi if not already and use virtualdub
dosent that just convert videos to vcd/svcd/dvd and rip videos from them? I've used it before and that was the only functionality it had, besides burning.
If you means WinAVI.I can tell you,when do the conversion with the software you can make some settings in the advanced page,also can split the output file as the size you want.And it can convert to avi,wmv,rm,mpeg1/2,mpg besidesVCD/DVD/SVCD.
But you'd better use V7.7 ,because it has more change with new version.
