problem with my movie volume on my pc

i have a creative xtreme gamer fatality sound card

ok when an action scene happens like with punching or fighting and such, my volume will turn down momentarily and then turn back up when the action has stoped.. im pretty sure its a software problem but am yet to figur it out. any help would be nice
