problem with Logitech Z-680 + Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Plat. Any ideas?

i seem to have a pretty annoying problem with getting 5.1 to work. ive already tured off the audigy decoder as z680s already have one. The only time all speakers seem to work is in winamp and when watching dvd's. other then that it seems just the front left and right work. even when im in speaker settings and press the button to test it it only says front left and front right.. cant hear any of the others.. everything is set correctly for digital 5.1. even when i hook it up with the analogs it still did not work.. this is the same speaker system i used with my previous audigy... it just dont seem to want to work with audigy 2. i know the speakers to be fine. any ideas? please? im stumped?!?!

I have the same problem. Not sure why... I tried all fixes from the sites I found, even from the Logitech site. No luck.

your speaker must be having a difficult time recognizing PCM (music and everything else) from DD (movies). if so I would take them back. do the speakers play fine when you play DVDs?
